Orsole 4 is the project for the redevelopment of the building in via delle Orsole 4 in Milan, the international competition launched by the Chamber of Commerce of Milan in 2018. The building is located in an area of Milan heavily bombed in July 1943, the air bombs caused the collapse of the building in front of that subject to competition. The subsequent upgrading measures do not They gave visible memory of the collapsed building.

The project presented aims to pursue the objectives of the competition, but tells the story of this place. In the concept of the project, we imagine a building ghost that has been floating in this city space since 1943. The idea is to finally give peace to the ghost, placing it in the form of a building volume above the building to be redeveloped, which is maintained in full (by the architect Cassi Ramelli). Generating a meeting of architecture and styles very strong, just the historical and architectural stratification that characterized the period of reconstruction the post-war Milan.

The proposed building provides a mix of offices, residences and shops, with an asymmetric tower development characterized by forms not definable and dematerialized as a ghost.
